I can’t say enough good things about Jims Garage in Margate. I brought in my rather neglected and SORN HONDA CRV at end of last year 2018 and not only did he fix it up, do some repairs and MOT her – he also offered to drop the car back onto the driveway!!!

Drop my car off to Jim first thing had a call within 2 hours after stripping half engine as we had a oil leak which was caused by a repair from another garage was diagnosed quick and efficiently had the car back by end of day we have tried a lot of garages and have come across a lot of cowboys so to speak but Jim is by far the most trustworthy and reliable mechanic we have had the pleasure to deal with we will only use Jim in future can’t recommend jim enough if you want high quality repairs friendly service and reasonably priced look no further.

Superb service from Jim’s today. Visited from London and he squeezed in a VW T5 clutch replacement the same day. 7hr job. Got us back home the same day with massive improvements to the T5
Also saved the old parts and showed the damage. Pointed out another couple of bits for us.

All my family use him now too and even travel from away and take days off work so that they can take their cars to Jim. I would like to say a big thank you to Jim and the gang down at Jim’s Garage. I took my car for a service & it started making a noise a few days later. Jim took it in – took the wheel off and sorted the problem with no extra charge. Also, we had been complete pests and kept changing the dates and Jim was really good about it. I needed the timing belt done on my citroen and called round local garages for a quote. There was a massive difference in estimates given, with Jims garage being £200 cheaper than dealership and my local garage in birchington. Down to earth people with down to earth prices and deliver every time! My car was sick and need of attention and they made it well for me. What Jim’s Garage means to me…
As an owner and enthusiast of Performance cars, especially Cosworths, I found myself in need of an advanced mechanic so I searched for a local garage to assist me. Whilst all the other usual run of the mill garages offer just the standard servicing and MOTs I found it very difficult to source a garage that could meet my needs, until I came across Jim’s Garage that is… with friendly and efficient knowledgeable staff I found them to be helpful, trustworthy yet down to earth.’I will never take my car anywhere else.
